Jessica obtained a master degree in Intelligence and International Security from King’s College London, where she wrote her thesis on the intelligence failures during the October 1973 war between Israel and Egypt. She also obtained a master degree in Crisis and Security from Leiden University, where she wrote her thesis on radicalisation of women. Currently, she researches risk perception of the Dutch public relating to the terrorist threat. Previously, Jessica worked on a project focusing on the nexus between migration and extremism. Her interests include terrorism, radicalisation and international security.
