Dana Polackova

In January 2018, Dana Poláčková received her MSc in Crisis and Security Management from Leiden University. She specialized in terrorism research and wrote her thesis on the differences in the framing of terrorism by conservative and liberal media in the United States. She holds a bachelor degree in International Studies from Leiden University and has already worked for a variety of private and public organizations in the security field, such as The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies, the Institute for Economics and Peace, and the Permanent Slovak representation to the OPCW. Currently, she is interning at the Terrorism Prevention Branch of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna.
