Amy Kasper graduated from the M.Sc. International Relations and Diplomacy program at Leiden University and is now a tutor/lecturer for Leiden’s minor in Global Affairs. She has worked at Leiden’s Institute for Security and Global previously as an intern and teaching assistant in the terrorism and political violence research group. Her background is in cross-cultural relations, teaching English as a second language, and religious conflict, with a BA in International Studies from Taylor University (Indiana, USA). Previously she designed and managed professional exchange programs through the World Affairs Council in Seattle, in partnership with the US Department of State. Her research interests span across intercultural communication, international law, US foreign policy, linguistics, international institutions, conflict prevention and peacebuilding, counterterrorism efforts, and transatlantic relations.
